Cosimo Minnella

Being born into the hair industry, Cosimo Minnella has developed a team at Trenz Hair Studio that can fulfill any client needs. In 2007, Cosimo became the Canadian Champion. He has won over 15 hair competitions.  Cosimo also was a competitor representing team Canada in the Hair World in 2007.  Cosimo enjoys working with other staff members as a team, training for hair competitions, and traveling around the world taking in knowledge from other shows and classes. He adapts those looks onto creative and inspiring haircuts for his clients. Cosimo is a Joico and L’oreal master colourist and a technical cutter. Cosimo invites you to be apart of his wonderful journey with hair.

Ryan Powell

Ryan has always enjoyed being creative at an early age, especially with hair.  After being particularly interested in hair he was introduced to the salon industry when he was 17.  He fell in love with it. Ryan’s continual love and passion for the industry is what drives Ryan to strive for perfection in everything he does.  He has been recently successful at hair competitions, and he’s expected to continue competing. Ryan is passionate about colour especially finding his strength in women’s hair.  Ryan specializes in Joico and Wella colour and is also displaying constant growth in evening updos and styles.  While working at Trenz, Ryan has taken numerous upgrades and courses.  He is most recently learning to cut hair the Sassoon way. Ryan is always giving each and every client the most direct attention. He continually educates himself on the newest techniques using colour, cutting, and styling.  Whether you want a contemporary classic styles or extreme colour you are sure to leave the salon pleased with the experience as well as the result.

Shannon Zellweger

Since graduating from Nu Wave School of Hair Design in 2000, Shannon Zellweger has been a valued employee at Trenz Hair Studio.  Shannon enjoys being part of a successful, locally owned salon.  Shannon specializes in Joico and Wella colours.  She has been trained in Pivot Point and Sassoon haircuts and styles.  Shannon has attended multiple hair shows and education classes and is always willing to learn new and innovative aspects of the hair industry. Her forte is hair colouring.

Ashley Belluz

After graduated from Nu Wave School of Hair Design, Ashley Belluz has been part of the Trenz team for 4 years. Since then, Ashley has been trained in Sassoon haircuts and styles.  She specializes in Joico and Wella colours.  This past year Ashley has attended the Winnipeg Hair Show ABA which was a great learning experience for her. She also plans to attend many more.  Ashley is always willing to learn new cuts and styles.  Ashley enjoys doing updo’s.

Miranda Minnella

Miranda Minnella graduated from Nu Wave School of Hair Design in 2004.  Miranda specializes in Joico and Wella colours.  She has competed in the ABA Winnipeg Women’s Cut and Colour, where she placed third place.  Miranda has 6 years experience in the hair industry and 2 of those years have been spent at Trenz Hair Studio.  Miranda keeps herself educated with new styles and cuts.  She has been trained in Sassoon haircuts and styles. Miranda specializes in women cuts and colours.

Raffaele Mihaljevic

Raffaele Mihaljevic began his quest to fulfill his own artistic talent when he was introduced to the hair world by a co worker, Carmen Minnella.  Carmen used Raffaele as a hair model in which they travelled to shows to compete in high talent competitions. Since starting as a hair model, Raffaele was already aware of the challenge he had ahead of himself by bringing cutting edge styles to many types of demanding clients.  Since moving up to a stylist position, Raffaele has mastered the art of cutting the Sassoon way, with geometric shapes and high fashion looks.  He is a master colourist in Joico colours. He is inspired by free flowing yet edgy designs fuelled by the future and today’s fashion trends. Raffaele’s speciality is in women’s colours and cuts.

Michele Harman

Michele Harman developed her passion for beauty when she was in high school and while assisting for a Schwarzkopf platform artist.  Michele then began to pursue her career by attending hair school and mastering the Pivot Point System.  She was later introduced to the members of Trenz Hair Studio where she has continued to expand her learning experience over the many years and became a licensed professional stylist.  Michele is educated in Sebastian, Paul Mitchell, Wella, Sassoon, Joico, and L’Oreal.

As a senior stylist Michele is always determined to find the desired style and products that suit the client’s hair and provide the best quality service.

Cosimo A. Minnella

Cosimo A. Minnella has been in the hair industry for 15 years. Cosimo A. is one of the owner’s of Trenz Hair Studio.  Over the years, he has competed in several hair competitions.  Cosimo is trained by the Sassoon cutting team and is also a Joico and Wella colour specialist.  He keeps himself educated with the latest cuts, styles and trends. Cosimo specializes in men’s haircuts, straightening and colouring.

Carmen Minnella

I first began my journey into the hair industry as a child. While growing up I was surrounded by a family who shared a love and passion for the hair industry. I have continued with this love and passion which ultimately has allowed me to become owner and partner of Trenz Hair Studio. I graduated Nu-Wave-School of Hair Design in 1999. Since graduating I have expanded my skills by training with many of the top artistic and creative professionals in the hair industry. From this training I have become successful competing and receiving awards throughout North America. Being a creative individual, my specialty lies in hair coloring and hair design. I am continuously learning and perfecting the newest styles in the hair industry. My associates and I promise to keep our staff at Trenz Hair Studio a step above the rest, because you as a client in our salon "Deserve the Best".

Adrian Minnella

Adrian has literally been around the business of hair his entire life. He is a second generation hair stylist. Thanks to his father and uncles that own and operate the Nu Wave School of Hair Design.

After completing basic training and receiving his license, he began his journey working at Trenz Hair Studio, where he made all of his accomplishments winning awards in Canadian competitions and competing at a world level hair design competitions. Adrian and his staff at Trenz are doing advanced training in Sassoon haircutting and are experts in Joico hair coloring.

Adrian has spent 10 years pursuing the best training possible both following and shaping current trends and styles.

Cosimo Salerno

Born in Thunder Bay but raised in Italy, Cosimo Salerno moved back to his native town in the year 2000. He has rich family heritage in the industry and it was his desire to master the art and craft of hairdressing.

He received his education at Nu Wave Hair School in Thunder Bay, and then gathered one year salon experience at LaPaloma, before joining the Trenz team in 2006 where he continued to perfect his technique and serve his loyal clientele at the salon.

Cosimo is a charming, affable person who believes in the passion and integrity of his craft and finds joy in making his clients look great and feel fabulous.
